Franklin Method – Breathe well: How diaphragm, ribcage and lungs work together

March 16 2018, 6.00pm – 9.00pm in Zagreb
in Zagreb, Račićeva 5, Center Snaga Namjere
Instructor: Brigitte Ferchichi

The Franklin method teaches alignment through movement, functional anatomy and mind-body connection through imagery. Improve how you move in any activity; yoga, pilates, triathlete training, meditation, walking, running, performing, dance etc. to support longevity, ease and strength in the body.

What do we do in this life more than anything else? We breathe. If we learn to do it better, we improve most of what we do in life. Learn how breathing works and what it means to breathe well. In this workshop, we will use imagery and the embodiment of the design, structure and movements of the diaphragm, as well as the ribs, the lungs and the abdominal muscles. You will also learn about how they can work together to strengthen and free up both body and mind.

With easy-to-do imagery, touch, voice and movement exercises, we will explore the mechanics and physiology of breathing and experience how after this workshop we will feel more present, calm and energized from within.
